The farm is located in the northern part of the Tuscan Maremma, nearby Montecatini val di Cecina, an ancient medieval village perched on a hill dominating the Val di Cecina. Sorbaiano, an ancient Roman annexation and then a feud of the noble family Inghirami from Volterra, was purchased by the current owners in the mid-1950s.
The fields and vineyards of the farm extend over approximately 270 hectares of which 160 cereal crops, 68 woodland, 15 olives and 27 specialized vineyards,. They are surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, being immersed between the seaside (you can appreciate its porfumes) and the severe Volterra with its crags.
The organic certified company produces Montescudaio doc white and red, each wine being perfectly structured, soft, tasty and made with extremely accurate processing.
